The Mashmaker experience
Although I've made videos and multimedia content since 2003 for corporate clients including international five star hotels and software companies, creating storyboards and scripts, directing, capturing and editing footage, as well as coordinating external videography partners, the idea of Mashmaker was born in 2020 at a time where like many others, I rediscovered my camera and reignited my passion for photography and videography.
Although I've made videos and multimedia content since 2003 for corporate clients including international five star hotels and software companies, creating storyboards and scripts, directing, capturing and editing footage, as well as coordinating external videography partners, the idea of Mashmaker was born in 2020 at a time where like many others, I rediscovered my camera and reignited my passion for photography and videography.
Because we couldn't meet up and celebrate special occasions with family and friends due to covid restrictions at the time, I started filming and editing music video-style birthday cards for them. The impact and the joy that these videos brought to the recipients, as well as to all of those that took part in filming themselves dancing, singing, miming and recording heartfelt messages, was simply contagious. From Sydney Australia, and Kingston Jamaica, to Düsseldorf Germany and New York, USA , a quick glance at the testimonials, you'll see that this reaction has been shared time and again.

Mashmaker personalised video greeting cards is a passion project, and I personally make the Mash videos from my studio in Hamburg. I don’t outsource any of the work required to make a Mash video to anywhere else in the world. Whilst this currently means I can’t make too many Mash videos at the same time, it does allow me to ensure that what we make together is as special as it can be.
For larger commercial projects however, I work with select professional partners to ensure projects are delivered on time and on-budget at the highest standards.
